Do the y-intercept, which is 17. Then from there do the slope, which is 5 or 5/1.

For -2x + 3y = 14 you have to put back into the y = mx + b format.

First add 2x to 14.

3y = 14 + 2x

or 3y = 2x +14

Then divide by 3 to get y by itself.

y = 2/3 x + 14/3

or

y = 2/3 x + 4

Then you can graph that onto the same graph as before.

Both lines intercept each other at ( -3, 2 ).
