To find the area of a circle using this rule

\begin{gathered} A=\pi r^2 \\ \end{gathered}

Where r is the radius of the circle

Since the diameter of the pizza is 15-inch

The radius = 1/2 diameter

r=(1)/(2)*15=7.5

So the radius is 7.5 inches

Let us substitute it in the rule and use pi = 3.14

A=3.14(7.5)^2=176.625

Round it to the nearest whole number

So the area of the crust = 177 square inches

answer b
