Method 1:

To substract mixed fractions we first transform them into improper fractions

7(3)/(4)-3(5)/(6)=(31)/(4)-(23)/(6)

now we do the substraction of fractions:

\begin{gathered} (31)/(4)-(23)/(6)=(93-46)/(12) \\ =(47)/(12) \end{gathered}

Now we transform the result into a mixed fraction:

(47)/(12)=3(11)/(12)

Hence:

7(3)/(4)-3(5)/(6)=3(11)/(12)

Method 2:

The second method is to substract the integers and the fractions separately:

7-3=4

and

\begin{gathered} (3)/(4)-(5)/(6)=(9-10)/(12) \\ =-(1)/(12) \end{gathered}

since the last fraction is negative we have tu substrac this to the integer:

\begin{gathered} 4-(1)/(12)=(48-1)/(12) \\ =(47)/(12) \end{gathered}

now we convert it to a mixed fraction:

(47)/(12)=3(11)/(12)

Hence:

7(3)/(4)-3(5)/(6)=3(11)/(12)

By either method the result is 3 11/12.
