Given equation:

25x^2\text{ - }9y^2\text{ = 225}

To write in standard form, we divide both sides by 225:

\begin{gathered} (25x^2)/(225)\text{ - }(9y^2)/(225)\text{ = }(225)/(225) \\ \frac{x^2}{9\text{ }}\text{ -}(y^2)/(25)\text{ = 1} \end{gathered}

Hence, to write the equation in standard form, we divide both sides by 225

First drop-down : dividing

Second drop-down : 225
