Given the function:

f\mleft(x\mright)=√(x-1)

First part:

You need to substitute the following value of "x" into the function:

x=1

In order to find:

f(1)

Then, substituting and evaluating, you get:

\begin{gathered} f(1)=\sqrt[]{1-1} \\ f(1)=\sqrt[]{0} \\ f(1)=0 \end{gathered}

Second part:

Substitute this value of "x" into the function:

x=-6

And then evaluate, in order to find:

f(-6)

You get:

\begin{gathered} f(-6)=\sqrt[]{-6-1} \\ f(-6)=\sqrt[]{-7} \end{gathered}

Since the Radicand is negative, it is not a Real Number.

Therefore, the answers are:

First part:

A.

f(1)=0

Second part:

B. The answer is not a real number.
