Given the expression:

3(4x + 5)

It can be written in other several equivalent forms. For example, we can apply the distributive property and write:

3 × 4x + 3 × 5

If we operate, we can find another equivalent expression:

12x + 15

We can also swap the position of the terms:

15 + 12x

It's also possible to factor this last expression by 3:

3(5 + 4x)

All the expressions written above are equivalent to the original expression
