Let the measure of the angles be x and y degrees. Recall, if two angles are supplementary, it means that their sum is 180 degrees. This means that

x + y = 180

One angle is 16° more than the other. Let x be the bigger angle. It means that

x = y + 16

Substituting x = y + 16 into x + y = 180, we have

y + 16 + y = 180

2y + 16 = 180

Subtracting 16 from both sides of the equation, we have

2y + 16 - 16 = 180 - 16

2y = 164

y = 164/2

y = 82

Substituting y = 82 into x = y + 16, we have

x = 82 + 16

x = 98

The measures of the angles are 82 and 98 degrees
