Best way to do this: point slope form
y-y1=m(x-x1)
Sub point/slope in to point slope equation
y-(-7)= -6(x-4)
Distribute and make appropriate signs
y+7=-6x+24
Rearrange into slope intercept form
**y=-6x+17**
