I need help to find the lateral!! I will include the photo.

Since the lateral area of a cylinder is a circumference, which area is defined by the following formula:


A=\pi r^2

since the cylinder has 2 of them the the total lateral area is


2\pi r^2

where r is the radius, that is 6 ft. then we replace 6 in the previous formula obtaining


2\pi(6^2)=72\pi\approx226.1946ft^2
