Solve the following system of equations.x - 2y = 6y=1/2x-3

Rewrite the second equation as:

1/2x - y = 3

Multiply both sides by 2:

x - 2y = 6

Let:

x - 2y = 6 (1)

x -2y = 6 (2)

As you can see they represent the same line, therefore the system has infinite solutions.
