2(b)The chosen experiment is Rolling a dice at least 50 times and getting a specific number each time (We pick the number 6).
3. The results obtained were as follows:
![\begin{gathered} Number|Outcomes \\ 1|11 \\ 2|8 \\ 3|10 \\ 4|9 \\ 5|10 \\ 6|12 \\ --- \\ \text{Total}|60 \end{gathered}](https://img.qammunity.org/2023/formulas/mathematics/college/spjwj2n3dh1ii966ezff7cg9pron5fhph5.png)
1. MY EXPERIMENT: In this experiment, I rolled a dice 60 times and recorded the number of times it landed with the number 6 face-up.
2. PREDICTED FREQUENCY:
The predicted frequency for rolling a dice 60 times and getting the number 6 is 10 because the theoretical probability of getting a 6 is 1/6 = 0.167 or 16.7% and 1/6 of 60 is 10.
3. MY RESULTS: After rolling a dice 60 times, I recorded 12 Events of the dice showing a 6. The probability was 12/60 = 0.20 or 20%.
4. SUMMARY RESULTS: The predicted frequency of 16.7% was very close to my experimental probability of 20%.
