SOLUTION

Net sales from quarter 1, Q1 = 110, and net sales from quarter 2 Q2 = 170.

Percent cahnge in net sales becomes

\begin{gathered} (Q2-Q1)/(Q1)*100 \\ =(170-110)/(110)*100 \\ =(60)/(110)*100 \\ =54.545454 \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is 54.5% to the nearest tenth.
