The vegan diet is a diet that is only fruit and vegetable based. Vegans do not consume products that are derived from animal meat or other animal products such milk and so forth. Vegans do not wear clothes that are made from animal skin or fur.

The restrictions of the vegan diet are, no animal meat or products derived from animals e.g cheese is not allowed to be consumed as it is derived from milk etc.
