(6 , 10) (0, -10)

Use the formula;

y-y_1=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)(x-x_1)

x₁ = 6 y₁ = 10 x₂= 0 y₂=-10

substitute the values into the formula and evaluate

y-10\text{ =}(-10-10)/(0-6)(x\text{ -6)}

y\text{ - 10 =}(-20)/(-6)(x\text{ - 6)}

y\text{ -10=}(10)/(3)(x\text{ - 6)}

Multiply through by 3

3y - 30 = 10 (x - 6)

3y - 30 = 10x - 60

10x - 3y = -30 + 60

10x - 3y = 30
