1. WHO WAS MARIE DALY ?

ANSWER : Marie Daly is the first African American woman to receive a doctorate in chemistry in the United States.

●WHAT DID SHE ACCOMPLISHED ?

ANSWER : Whe Accomplished overcoming the dual hurdles of racial and gender bias, Marie Maynard Daly (1921–2003) conducted important studies on cholesterol, sugars, and proteins. In addition to her research, she was committed to developing programs to increase the enrollment of minority students in medical school and graduate science programs.

2.WHAT IS BTB AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR ?

ANSWER : BTB (Bromothymol blue) also known as bromothymol sulfone phthalein and BTB is a pH indicator. It is mostly used in applications that require measuring substances that would have a relatively neutral pH (near 7). A common use is for measuring the presence of carbonic acid in a liquid.

3.HOW DOES CARBON DIOXIDE GET REPLWNISHED IN WATER ?

ANSWER : Trough photosynthesis by plant-like organisms (phytoplankton), as well as by simple chemistry: carbon dioxide dissolves in water. It reacts with seawater, creating carbonic acid. Carbonic acid releases hydrogen ions, which combine with carbonate in seawater to form bicarbonate, a form of carbon that doesn’t escape the ocean easily.

●WHAT IS THE PH OF CARBON DIOXIDE WATER ?

ANSWER : Carbon Dioxide exists at pH levels ( between 3.6 and 8.4. Carbon ) Dioxide cannot be found in water with a pH of 8.5 or higher. "The pH value is not a measurement of the amount of carbon dioxide in the water, but rather the relationship of carbon dioxide and bicarbonate alkalinity."

4. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE AMOUNT OF CARBON DIOXIDE IN WATER WITH PLANTS AND SUNLIGHT ?

ANSWER : Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar.

●WHAT HAPPENS IF THERES IS NO SUNLIGHT PRESENT

ANSWER : all photosynthesis on Earth would stop. All plants would die and, eventually, all animals that rely on plants for food including humans would die, too

HOPE IT HELPS ON YOU :) GOODLUCK!
