A man can do 7/10 parts of piece of a work in 1 day and his wife can do 9/15 part of the same work in 1 day. Who has better working efficiency

This is a comparing base question . We have to compare here both of their works and determine who's work is more efficient by taking LCM of 7/10 and 9/15.

Now the man can do 7/10 parts of piece of a work in a day and The wife can do 9/15 part of the same work in a day.

Now we shall take the LCM of 10 and 15 which is 30 then we have


(7)/(10)=(7*3)/(10*3)=(21)/(30),\text{ }(9)/(15)=(9*2)/(15*2)=(18)/(30)

So we get


(21)/(30)>(18)/(30)

Hence the man has better working efficiency than his wife.
