The equation of the slope is as follows,

\begin{gathered} m=((y2-y1))/((x2-x1)) \\ m=(-6-(-5))/(-7-(-1)) \\ m=(-1)/(-6) \\ m=(1)/(6) \end{gathered}

The equation of line from two point is as follows,

\begin{gathered} y-y1=m(x-x1) \\ y-(-5)=(1)/(6)(x-(-1)) \\ y+5=(1)/(6)(x+1) \\ 6y+30=x+1 \\ x-6y-29=0 \end{gathered}

The above equation is the point slope form.

Now, slope intercept form is as follows'
