The point of discontinuity of the function f(x) is at x=2


\begin{gathered} f(x)\text{ =}(x^2+3x-10)/(x^2-4)=\text{ }\frac{(x+5)(x-2)}{(x-2)(x+2)\text{ }}=(x+5)/(x+2) \\ \text{set x+2 = 0} \\ x=-2 \end{gathered}

The horizontal asymptotes is 1

The vertical asymptotes is -2
