Are these different elements? Think about what helps you to locate an element on the Periodic Table.

Atom A: 14 protons; 12 electrons; 15 neutrons
Atom B: 12 protons; 14 electrons; 13 neutrons

Elements can only be the same if they have the same number of protons and electrons - Atom A and Atom B have different proton and electron numbers so they are different element.

Hope this helps!
