Solve each equation by using the square root property. X^2–14x+49=3

The equation can be written as


(x-7)^2=3

taking the square root of both sides gives


x-7=\pm\sqrt[]{3}

Adding 7 to both sides gives


x=\pm\sqrt[]{3}+7.

which is the solution to our equation.
