cosine ratio of Z = cos Z.

cos Z = adjacent side of angle Z (base) / Hypotenuse

cos Z = 12/20 = 6/10 = 3/5.

Here,

  • \cos(Z) = (side \: \: adjacent \: \: to \: \:Z )/(hypotenuse)

that is ~

  • \cos(Z) = (12)/(20)
