Step-by-step explanation:

Classical conditioning is a method in which a thing is subject to repeated conditioning in order to make the task they are learning automatic. As displayed by Ivan Pavlov with his dog and bell experiment. This can be used to cancer patients as chemo can be harsh on a person's body, since it literally is poison being dumped into their body. If a person is stimulated and gets conditioned that everytime they need to receive treatment they can receive a reward it can make their lives easier, as they no longer associate bad things to cancer treatments. However this could also be reversed and the idea of chemo/treatments could be enforced with negative ideas which would convince the patient they require this and that they can't miss it. Both examples of these can ease their life into living with cancer a little bit easier.
