We have the following:


\begin{gathered} PR=PQ+QR \\ PQ=4(x-3)+1 \\ QR=x+10 \end{gathered}

Now,

x = 7

replacing:


\begin{gathered} PQ=4(7-3)+1=4\cdot4+1=17 \\ QR=7+10=17 \end{gathered}

Therefore, PQ = QR
