20 of the 120 don’t take either. This means 100 students take French, Spanish or both.

The total taking a language is 53 + 68 = 121

A) 131 -100 = 21

There are 21 students taking both French and Spanish

B) 53-21 = 32 take Spanish only.

32 / 120 students = 4/15 probability
