HELP I DON'T GET THIS PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Kamara has a square fence kennel area for her dogs in the backyard. The area of the kennel is 64 ft squared. What are the dimensions of the kennel? How many feet of fencing did she use? Explain.

Explanation:
If the kennel is a square, both the dimensions must be the same length. Lets say each side is s. Then, the area would be s². So to find s, it must be √(area if the square). In this case, √(64), which is 8 ft.
