It is the same as (4x+1)(4x-1) all over x(4x-1) you can cancel the 4x-1
You get (4x+1)/x
As stated by all the answers x≠0 as you would have 0 as a denominator which is a criminal offence. Lets see if 1/4 works.
(4(0.25)+1)/0.25 =1+1/0.25
2/0.25 = 8
