To lose excess fat you can cut out the artificial sweetener known as high fructose corn syrup. HFCS has been linked to America’s obesity epidemic. Not to mention the negative effects it has on your gastrointestinal health. The man made sweetener is banned for food production in several countries yet America continues to use it because of how cheap it is compared to natural sugars. I have cut this ingredient out of my diet at the age of 11. First I started out by lowering the amount of sodas I was drinking and switching to water instead. Over time you begin to crave it less and can cut it out completely. However, you have to pay close attention to food ingredient labels and check if what you’re consuming contains high fructose corn syrup. It can be difficult to completely stop eating HFCS, but even lowering the amount can help you lose fat.
