Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

So, here's a slightly simpler example:
If i had a jar, and i added sand, then rocks on top of the sand, and finally dirt on top of everything, what would the layers of the jar look like? (Assuming that i hadn't shaken the jar)
Well, the answer would be: The bottom of the jar would be a sand, the middle would be rocks, and on top would be dirt.

This question is pretty much the same question, just with fancier words and 4 things instead of 3

If the stars come first, then you find them at the very bottom of the jar. if the squares come second, then they are above the stars, but below the triangles, which come third. The circles come last, so you find them last. Thus the order is: stars, squares, triangles, and circles, from bottom to top, so it's A

Note: the jar represents the earth, and it too, may be shaken up in some places. This means that sometimes, if two organisms lived very close together in time (like the star and the square), and some event happened, you may occasionally see the square below the star. However, this question says that they weren't disturbed.
