Answer:

27 ounces of flour

Explanation:

(7)/(3) x
(9)/(9) =
(63)/(27)

7/3 = 63/x

isolate the so that it is on the top, so multiply by x on the right and on the left

this gives you:

x*7/3 = 63

try to isolate x and multiply by 3 to get rid of the denominator

x*7 = 63 * 3

x*7 = 189

finally isolate x by dividing by 7 and getting rid of the 7 multiplying with it

x= 189/7

x = 27

you need 27 ounces of flour if you have 63 ounces of sugar
