P(x)=8x^4+39x^3-nx^2+6x-20

P (-5), replace x by (-5).

p(x)=8(-5)^4+39(-5)^3-n(-5)^2+6(-5)-20

Solve the parentheses:

p(x)=8(625)+39(-125)-n(25)-30-20

p(x)=5,000-4,875-25n-30-20

Combine like terms:

p(-5)=75-25n
