- As I work at my desk, the thunder rumbles outside my window. The darkness is broken by bursts of light, as the wind flies by my window. Dragons screaming with pride, breathing fire, and soaring over the starry night sky come to mind as one experiences the exhilarating mix of sight and sound. My fascination with dragons began when I was a little child. Since then, they have followed me. The gorgeous creatures showed up in books I read in the library, artwork I saw in galleries, movies I saw in theaters, and dreams I had while sleeping. When I was thirteen, I had only one question left. I embarked on a hunt for information because I was determined to learn whether dragons may have genuinely existed.
-I came across a lot of naysayers as I began my inquiry. Dragons could not exist and were not present, according to scientific data. Dragons couldn't fly, they said, because they were too large, as they were. When they heard that dragons could breathe fire, they laughed. They emphasized that no other animal had ever performed this. According to them, if dragons had ever existed, someone would have discovered their remains somewhere in the world. There were numerous rational explanations, there is no doubt about it. It would have been simple for me to think that people who believed in dragons were the only ones who ever saw them in the real world.
-I had the option of giving up, but I remembered my grandma. People who think that science is the solution to all problems are missing out on everything else, she used to say, according to me. I read more information about dragons with her words in mind. I discovered that all cultures had similar ways of describing dragons. They had no means of communication, so this was strange. In historical legal documents and the travel diaries of people like Marco Polo, I discovered notes concerning dragons. The Bible made mention to dragons as well. I learned that each year's animal is used in the Chinese calendar. Along with eleven actual animals, dragons are also present. I started to think that there was a chance that all
-I started looking for fresh research with the rekindled belief that the legends might contain some reality. I discovered that some specialists disagreed with common criticisms of dragons. They proposed that a dragon might possess four stomachs, similar to a cow. It could be able to lift itself off the ground if it produced stomach gases like birds do. It would then be able to fly as a result. When diving for the earth, if it forced out air, it might have released gases that could catch fire. Strong stomach acids that were released after death slowly dissolved the animal's corpse. Biologists provided models and sketches based on well-known animals to support their theories. Although not everyone concurred, many of the things
-I doubt we will ever have concrete proof that dragons ever existed. The heated argument may always have two sides. Some claim that the stories are the products of vivid imaginations. Some people will fervently hold the belief that the fabled animals prowled our prehistoric globe. Although I'm not sure which side to support, the commotion of a night like this makes me happy. It revives my youthful fantasies and maintains the intriguing prospect.
