First off, I got this answer correct on my test but let me explain a bit more. The most interesting details wouldn't be able to summarize a story properly for you because if you only provide very specific details of a story to summarize it to someone who has never read it, they would be very confused. When you have questions like this always imagine yourself summarizing the story to someone else. Like imagine someone asked you "please will you summarize it quickly for me?" and you said "it took place in a forest and then they went into the town square and then they went to the mall." (listing setting) that would be awfully confusing and not helpful AT ALL. Listing the characters is somewhat helpful but the summary is asking for the plot not for every character that showed up in the story.
