Answer:

I think it is 2 1/4 Gallons

Explanation:

3/4 + 3/4 + 3/4 = 9/4

or

3/4 Ă— 3 = 9/4

9/4 = 2 1/4

Answer:

2 and 1/3 of a gallon

Explanation:

since a third of a wall requires 3/4 gallons, then two thirds of a wall would require 3/4 + 3/4 gallons since painting two thirds is like painting one thirds two times. similarly, painting three thirds of a wall would be like painting one thirds of a wall three times. 3/4 + 3/4 + 3/4 equals 3 * 3/4 (by the definition of multiplication) which would equal 9/4. 9/4 also equals 2 1/3/
