(50 ÷ 5) - (4 x 10) = ?

Using PEMDAS, we know we need to solve whatever is within the Parenthesis first.

There are two separate parenthesis so we do multiplication first, division next, and then substituting your answers for each parenthesis, subtract the two answers last.

Step 1: 4 x 10 = 40

Step 2: 50 ÷ 5 = 10

Step 3: 10 - 40 = -30

So your answer is -30
