10x + y = 10 (1)\\ 11x + 11y = 1001(2) \\ from \: equation \:(1) \: y = 10 - 10x \\ 11x + 11(10 - 10x) = 1001 \\ 11x + 110 - 110x = 1001 \\ 11x - 110x = 1001 - 110 \\ - 99x = 891 \\ ( - 99x)/( - 99) = (891)/( - 99) \\ x = - 9 \\ y = 10 - 10x \\ y = 10 - 10( - 9) \\ y= 10 + 90 \\ y = 100
