Answer:

1. "Papers came rushing out"

2 "The house looked down sadly"

3 "The sun greeted me"

4 "My feet were begging"

5 "The moon gently kissed her forehead"

6 "wind shrieking outside my window"

7 "The car threw a fit"

8 "My alarm clock nags me"

9 "The new video game started flying off the shelves"

10 "My bed was calling my name"

Step-by-step explanation:

Personification in literature is when a non-human entity is given human-like traits. An example in Number 2, "The house looked down sadly as the family packed up all of their belongings." Of course, a house does not have a face or body, and thus it can not look down sadly at the family, so the house is being personified in this statement. Implying that the house is "sad" thats its owners are (probably) moving way.

Why personification?

Personification allows the author to create a more immersive world by giving non-human objects feelings and actions that we, as humans, can relate to.

Please give a thanks if this helped! :D
