Answer: It protects our fundamental rights which are present in Part -3 Article 12 to 32 . Article 32 gives citizens right to Constitutional remedies.
It cross checks whatever policy is being formulated by the government. If the government makes any rule which is not in it's purview than judiciary comes into action and corrects the government.
