y = -1/4x + 7/4

Explanation:

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m = (3 - 0)/(-5 - 7) = 3/(-12) = -1/4

using m = -1/4, y = 0 , x = 7

y = mx + b

0 = -1/4(7) + b

0 = -7/4 + b

b = 7/4

y = -1/4x + 7/4
