Explanation : The base of the neck is a pulse point where the beats of the heart is easily obtainable. Therefore, counting the amount of beats you feel in the space of 10 seconds would be quick and efficient during a workout. The reason for multiplying by 6 is so you get the number of beats within a minute which is the measure for HR (Heart Rate)
