cows legs- 4 x 5=20
horses legs- 10 x 4 = 40
which is 40:20
simplified= 2:1

10 cows x 4 legs each = 40 cow legs
5 horses x 4 legs each = 20 horse legs
40/20= 2:1, 2 cow legs to 1 horse leg
