1. patriot- a person who loves, support and defends their country with devotion. they are colonists who rebelled against British control during the American Revolution
2. loyalist- a supporter of the sovereign or of the existing government and are colonists of the American revolutionary period who supported, and stayed loyal, to the British monarchy
3. federalist- a person who advocate the principles of democracy, accountability and transparency. they prefer the development of the traditional pursuit of peace.
4. anti- federalist- the excessive power of the national government at the expense of the state government, the disguised monarchic powers of the president, apprehensions about a federal court system
