Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a is 6, b is 11, c is x.

We have to first replace the items in the Theorem, do the exponents, then add.

1) 6^2 + 11^2 = x^2

2) 36 + 121 = x^2

3) 157 = x^2

To finally solve it we must square root everything

4) sqrt(157) = sqrt(x^2)

5) x = 12.52

So x has to be between 12 and 13
