9 - 3/4x = 57

I know this is really simple, but my teacher wants me to do the thing where we do the stuff to both sides and I don't know how to write that.

-64. First subtract 9 from both sides and you’ll have -3/4x = 57. Then you divide both sides by -3/4 and get -64. If you want you can also go on mathpapa.com and it goes a little more in depth.
