its length. If the area of the rectangle is 105 square meters,

Well the best way to answer this is to eliminate incorrect options as it’s hard otherwise and since we have options we might as well use it…
Step by step:
Step 1:So let’s start with 3…it says 6 less than 3 times the length so 3 x 3 which is 9 - 6 which is 3…we know that area is length times width so 3 x 3 which is 9 but we need 105 so that’s wrong…
Step2: now let’s check 7 so 7 x 3 which is 21 then -6 which is 15.Now you can multiply this on a paper or in your head..if your doing this in your head than we can make this easier buy splitting 15 and we can re-write this as…(7x10) + (7x5)..so 7 x 10 is 70..and 7 x 5 is 35..70 + 35 is 105…so we know that 7 is the answer..
