36 - 6 = 30

30 - 6 = 24

24 - 6 = 18

18 - 6 = 12

12 - 6 = 6

6 - 6 = 0

We had to subtract the number 6 six times from 36. That means 36 = 6 × 6 which is also
6^(2). That means the
√(36) is 6.
