Can someone help me solve for x? 2x-9=3x-1

Hey!

2x-9=3x-1

Lets put the x on 1 side

2x 2x

- 2x -9= 3x-1

-9= x -1

-1 -1

-8 = x

X = -8 is your answer

2x−9=3x−1

Move the variable to the left side

2x−9−3x=−1

Subtract the terms

Move the constant to the right side
