Explanation:

i) x is multiple of y means x can be multiplied by y

(2,2) means 2 is multiple of 2 which means 2 can be multiplied by 2

(6,2) means 6 is multiple of 2 which means 6 can be multiplied by 2 eg:2×3 =6

ii) x=y means x is same to y eg:if x =2 then y is also equal to 2

iii) y is a factor of x means y can be divided by x eg (2,2) 2 can be divided by 2(2÷2=1)

(6, 2) 6 can be divided by 2(6÷2=3)
