\huge\mathcal {♨Answer♥}

Let's get the width as
\large\texttt {x}

So,

The length of the rectangle is
\large\texttt {2x +2}

The perimeter of the rectangle is
\large\texttt {82 inches}

Let's get the answer for width,

☆ 2 (2x + 2) + 2x = 82

4x + 4 + 2x = 82

6x + 4 = 82 - 4

6x ÷ 6 = 78 ÷ 6

x = 13

Let's get the answer for length,

☆ 2x + 2

2 × 13 + 2

28

Then,

\large\texttt {↪The width is 13 inches}

\large\texttt {↪The length is 28 inches}

...hope this helps...
