We have that
g(t)=-t+5, and we are asked to evaluate
g(-15) . In notation of functions like this, the number inside the parentheses is the value of the variable. Or, to be more clear, this is essentially telling us that
t=-15 for our expression
g(t) = -t+5. So we can evaluate it as follows:
