Answer: Active reading or how active a person is reading.

Step-by-step explanation:

A person who is reading something should have these simple things to understand the book/text.

-Patience. You should at least read a passage 3-4 times to remember it correctly without going back

-Background knowledge. You should have background knowledge about a concept to understand more about the text.

-Vocab. Vocab is also VERY VERY important when it comes to reading an above-grade passage/s. I would recommend working on vocabulary. Because vocab can a bit difficult. Especially in informational articles/texts.

I hope my answer helps!
